this week was not a good week so far. had mixed feeling about going to korea for work. then when the email came, they said i was to go to korea on thursday nite, caught me by real surprise. then it was postphone. then it was cancelled. then "WHAT THE F**K IS THE KOREANS DOING!!!?" then boss was pissed and he cancelled all trips to korea, saying that korea is taking advantage of us.

Went to test the 3 turbines on tuesday which i did a full overhaul on. crap... came out of the engine room totally drenched in my sweat and my ears were ringing to the amount of noise from all the machinary running. glad to say that the noise were not from my turbines cos they were running so so soooo smooth...hehe (must see who do the job wan mah...;))

then came bad news. there was a very crappy job coming up. and i got the arrow to do the job, wah liao!!! it starts on monday. and the thing is that cos we operate on a five day work week, so monday is not a holiday for us. but boss is kind enough to give us a day off. but half of the company will take the day off on friday and the rest on monday. i was abit pissed after awhile cos i dun get to go korea and stay in nice hotel and with good weather and at least cleaner air then wat we have here in singapore now, but i get to work on a crappy ship which have to start work by 7, SEVEN... BLARDY SEVEN IN THE MORNING!!! and the stupid manager had the cheek to come ask me a really dumb question..."Brian! So u wan friday off or monday?" i said monday, then he said "but u start Ocean Jewel (ship's name) on monday. then i reply nicely "THEN U ASK ME FOR WHAT!!!"

work is getting depressing for me man......

i give up... i dont care... i not bothered... i will do whatever i want cause whatever it is, it is what i want after all... shall be satisfied with what i have and what i can do with my life...whatever happens shall let it happen, will not try to make it happen anymore. i dont think i should let myself be unhappy anymore. whatever is it that i am doing has to be for a reason, so i might as well be happy doing it. if the reason leads to disappointment... then why should i do it...

machines... engines... i just love them. happy that i get to work with them everyday. every machinary is made for a special purpose and all have different characteristics. they can be of the same brand, same model but they can behave differently. each have their own potential which is yet to be discovered.

everytime i start a new job, i need to know the machine really well. walk around it, checking for leaks or damages and to see if everything is in the machine's flavour to performing the way it should and could perform. pull out the drawing and study it as close as possible getting to know it inside out. then out comes the tools to disassemble the machine. watever that is not to the machine's liking will be repaired or changed. when all is out, everything will be thoroughly clean and polish. then everything will be assembled back with the most carefull of efforts, making sure that nothing is too tight or too loose. then the machine will be given it's blood, fresh new oil. then comes the moment of truth, the machine or the engine is fired up and it roars to life. satisfaction..!! small adjustments here and there to get the engine going smoothly, a smile will be on my face by now...

machines and engines to me are similiar to people... but people are not that easy as machines... cos only one person can make it through everything with me and put that same smile on my face...

this is so stupid but i just wanna do it...hehehe...all becos of a scooter blocking my way while i was speeding along side a M3. haha... i seriously could have won (yeah right) but had to let it pass if not i would plough into the poor guy on the scooter. so... my car is going to go up to 300 horses soon... when i have then money that is...WAHAHA..haha..hehe...=)

Wat a super crappy day man... Feeling very shitty after all the crap that i had to go through today. And to top it off, even the weather wasnt on my side. sigh...

my car is super hot these days just becos my aircon is screwed up... feels like a sauna man... well, i just know that some people which i know very well will say... "u work also in a sauna wat!!!"... but doesnt mean i have to be in sauna all day long rite... but maybe i shld just leave it as it is... just so that i get really really thirsty during the weekends... but i think i better fix it...sigh need to spend more money on my car again
